How are the books ordered?

Each unit holds 10 books in pattern order, two per pattern. Units with fewer than five patterns end with review books that use all of the unit's patterns.

Which words can a book use?

Only the patterns taught so far in that unit and in earlier units, plus the heart words and names of those units. Page 2 of every book lists the pattern words and heart words to read first.

What do the wall cards show?

A sound card with a keyword picture for every spelling the unit teaches, and a card for each heart word, for all 10 units.
